Green Demo Day in Gothenburg

During the first Green Corridor Demo Day, organized by Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg, green transport solutions have been presented by a number of companies such as Scania, Volvo and Maersk Line as well as European transnational cooperation projects, like East-West-Transport Corridor II, TransBaltic and Scandria.

In that context, several Scandria partners presented green logistics best practice from the Scandinavian-Adriatic Corridor at an own stand.

The visitors at the Scandria stand were interested in the project itself, the Scandinavian-Adriatic corridor, but also in the demonstrations. At the stand, the SoNorA Routing Tool of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau and the Scandria biogas corridor approach, based upon liquefied biomethane in road transportation, were explained. The freight village Berlin South Grossbeeren as best practice example for green logistics and the CargoBeamer as innovative transshipment technology were presented by showing respective movies.
