Venice Port Authority supports Scandria Berlin Declaration
Prof. Paolo Costa, president of Venice Port Authority, signed the Scandria Berlin Declaration. The Venice Port Authority emphasized the common interest in a corridor from Scandinavia to the Adriatic in a letter to Kathrin Schneider, head of Joint State Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg.
In the beginning of this year the declaration was initially signed by the Scandria project partners and subsequently submitted to high-level transport politicians of the European Commission and Parliament. Siim Kallas, Vice-president of European Commission, as much as Dr. Peter Ramsauer, German Minister of Transport, Building and Regional Development, responded positively.
